As Maya Angelou, the American author and Civil Rights Activist succinctly stated, people will forget what you did or said but will always remember how you made them feel.
If we all look at our own personal and business lives there are always those individuals who we cannot wait to see, interact with and who genuinely put a smile on our face when we think about them. Conversely there are those that are not necessarily doom mongers but the very thought of being around them brings about negative thoughts. I can certainly think of a few commercial partners that we no longer deal with for that very reason and thank goodness for that, as constant moaning and negativity just saps the energy levels. The strangest thing is, they don’t even know they are like that!
We were tasked with trying to put together a video for potential customers and professional partners. I was adamant it would be totally unscripted and our team could just say it as it is. I hope it conveys our genuine personal mission to make everyone feel that they are dealing with a firm that cares about our customers and our employees. Any comments most welcome good or bad!
