We are absolutely thrilled that our Managing Director and Founder Trevor has won the biggest of all personal awards in the Estate Planning sector.
Trevor was recently voted by his peers across the UK as the Winner of the British Wills & Probate Awards as the Industry Champion. Professionals are nominated from across the country and then solicitors, estate planners and providers of services to the sector all get to vote.
Sadly Trevor wasn’t able to pick up the award from Jennie Bond, the BBC’s former Royal Correspondent, as he was on a family holiday in Florida but he was invited on to the video link live from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre to be named as the winner, and give an impromptu speech! The backdrop of rockets was quite something and the audience back in Birmingham loved it apparently.
“It is a massive honour to be voted by my peers in this way and is the highest of all accolades both for myself and our team at Portcullis. I cannot do anything without a great family and a great team of colleagues behind me”, said Trevor.
“I have been doing this for 35 years in January and I’ve had so much love and support on that entrepreneurial journey from clients, partner firms and my family and colleagues. Thank you to everyone along that journey”, remarked Trevor.
We are very proud that a firm from the westcountry has now won a second British Wills & Probate Award in three years and it shows we must be doing something right.
