A Plymouth-based law firm has evidenced its ongoing commitment to supporting local Armed Forces personnel and their families by entering into a prestigious agreement.
Portcullis Legals has signed the Armed Forces Covenant which means that members of the Armed Forces community can benefit from discounted fees on the firm’s specialist services, which include wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
In addition to current serving personnel, the arrangement also extends to reservists, veterans and all of their immediate families.
This commitment also enables Portcullis Legals to actively promote the fact they are an armed forces friendly organisation that seeks to support the employment of veterans, service spouses and partners. Also, the firm commits to support any existing member of its team should they choose to become reservists, accommodating training with paid leave and potential deployment should the situation arise.
The Armed Forces Covenant is an official commitment that also encourages community based support which involves participation in local cadet groups and Armed Forces Day which is particularly relevant to a Plymouth-based firm. In exchange Portcullis Legals will become an Armed Forces Day Partner and will be able to proudly display the Armed Forces Covenant logo on published material.
